Dr. Voit received his dental degree and post-doctoral training in Fixed Periodontal Prosthesis Prosthodontics from the University of Illinois College Dentistry. Upon completing his training, Dr. Voit served as LCDR in the United States Naval Dental Corps as Director of Prosthodontics at Camp Pendleton USMC. During his service Dr. Voit provided prosthetic reconstructive treatment for President Richard Nixon prior to the Frost interview.
Upon completion of his military tour Dr. Voit practiced in a Private Solo Group practice where he was co-owner and laboratory manager of the “in house” Precision Prosthodontics Dental Laboratory. He accepted an appointment as Clinical and Laboratory Director of Fixed Partial Prosthodontics at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. During that period Dr. Voit served as a member of the College of Dentistry's Executive and Admission committees.
Dr. Voit served as a member of the Nobel Biocare National Advisory Council and is recognized as a Key Opinion Leader on all aspects of the All-on 4® Immediate Load Full Arch Treatment Concept including the planning, placement, and restoration of Zygomatic and Pterygoid implants.
Dr. Voit has over 40 years of experience in private practice. Since 2007, Dr. Voit's leadership as Clinical Director at ClearChoice and Eon Dental implant centers, coupled with his role as a Key Opinion Leader for the All-on-4® Immediate Load Full Arch Treatment Concept, reflects his dedication to patient care. He has conducted over 8000 All-on-4® consultations. He has developed strategies in case presentation that are extremely helpful for those people interested in researching their dental implant options. Dr. Voit has planned, surgically performed, and participated in and completed 5000 All-on 4® upper & lower arches. Dr. Voit mentors new Prosthodontists and provides prosthetically oriented surgical advice to Maxillofacial and Periodontal and General Dentist Surgeons during surgical procedures. This participation results in achieving superior outcomes in a manner that is predictable and stress free.
During the last several years Dr. Voit has been instrumental in developing the most current digital protocols utilizing the state of the art fully digital workflow that results in savings of $20,000 or more for our All-on 4® Upper/Lower patients. People who previously wanted the procedure performed and could not afford it can now have it performed. The use of a fully digital workflow requires fewer appointments to achieve the restoration of your smile and function. This protocol allows you to totally bypass the use of removable complete dentures as a temporary restoration.
Based upon clinical observations and findings made during follow up implant maintenance procedures Dr. Voit, together with his colleagues, have implemented strategies that modified the surgical, prosthetic and laboratory protocols insuring an excellent long-term outcome for the full arch prostheses.
During Dr. Voit's years as a practicing Prosthodontist he has conducted numerous presentations and courses on implants and implant related restorative dentistry for Nobel Biocare, Biohorizons, the Pikos Institute, American College of Prosthodontists, American Academy of Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Academy of Osseointegration and the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Voit and his staff are now providing their patients dental care using a totally digital workflow providing his patient affordable full arch implant restorations at his new state of the art dental office in Glenview, IL.
